Unita Kentrell Bryan Obituary (1981 - 2020)

Unita "Nita" Kentrell Bryan, 39, of Frederick, Maryland, departed this life on October 3, 2020. She was born January 15, 1981 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Leven "Sonny" Bryan and Rita "Pinkie" Herbert. Nita attended Frederick County Public Schools. Her greatest joy was her children as she loved to play and laugh with them. Nita was an amazing cook and passed her love of baking and cooking on to her children. She enjoyed doing hair and was very creative at it. Nita was compassionate and helped those around her. She had a wonderful sense of humor with a contagious smile and can be the life of the party. Nita will be deeply missed by her children and family, as well as the many she came into contact with over her life's journey. In addition to her mother, Nita is survived by her: children, Chalaya Bryan, Lymasia Bryan, Reginald Snowden, Zydaia Bryan, Sire Cosley-Bryan, and Mendeces Bryan; sister, Lakiksha Bryan; two nephews; three aunts, Rhonda Jackson, Tammy Herbert and Shayna Genius; uncle, Dale Herbert (Lisa); cousins, Angel Jackson, Craig Jackson (Julie), Tamira Plummer, Arthur "AJ" Plummer, Jr., Tameka Way (Brandon), Dale Herbert, Jr., and Cecilia Herbert; godmother, Doris Smith; and many extended family members and friends. Nita was preceded in death by her: grandmother, Dorothy Herbert; grandfather, Charles "PeePee" Genius; Uncle, Sterling "Herbie" Herbert; daughter, Amaya Bryan; and aunt, Doris Bowen.
