Patricia "Theresa" Saunders Obituary (1952 - 2013)

Patricia Margaret 'Theresa' Saunders, 61 of Frederick, Maryland passed away July, 31 2013, at Citizens Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her only child, Nicole 'CoCo' Venise Jackson. Theresa is the daughter of Rebecca L. Saunders and the late Franklin W. Saunders, Sr. She was employed with Frederick County Public Schools for over 30 years. Theresa was a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan who enjoyed bingo, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Besides her mother, she is survived by her siblings, Carolann E. Patterson, Frances 'Lorraine' Brightful, and Franklin W. Saunders Jr. and wife Debbie, all of Frederick, god daughter Lakisha Jones, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and close family and friends.She was also preceded in death by brother-in-laws Preston A. Patterson and Anthony C. Brightful.Theresa will be greatly missed by her longtime companion, Leon 'Frankie' Goines, of Frederick, MD. The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. to 12 noon on Tuesday, August 6, 2013, at Asbury UMC, 101 W. All Saint St., Frederick.Funeral services will begin at noon with Rev. Rex R. Bowens officiating.Interment will be at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.
