Nathan Richard Roberts Obituary (1969 - 2019)

Nathan Richard Roberts was born December 2, 1969, in Cheverly, MD to Nathan Richard Hall and Minnie Juanita Roberts. He attended Prince George's County Public Schools before transferring to Montgomery County Public Schools and graduating from Seneca Valley High School in 1988. Nate was affectionately known as "58" Nate. He enjoyed many things in life including yardwork, hanging with family, taking care of his daughters, playing the congos, and cracking jokes on whoever and wherever possible. None of these things could compete with his passion for being a barber. Nate was everyone's barber, whether he was shaping your hairline or shaping your soul. He loved people and being around everyone. From cheering on the Redskins to giving out free haircuts to the needy, Nate will forever be known as "The People's Barber." He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Laniceshea Roberts; daughters, Kasjae Offutt, Raynesha Roberts and Nevaeh Roberts; stepsons, Delantae and Justin Sullivan; father, Nathan Hall; mother, Minnie Roberts; mother and father-in-law, Caroline and Oliver Tyler; grandmother, Shirley Lyles; grandparents-in-law, Wilbert and Joyce Cooper; sisters, Patricia Robinson and Gabrielle Hall; brother, Richard Hall; nieces, Deja Robinson and Sacrid and Zhade Hall; nephews, Dillon Robinson and Richard Hall, Jr.; step-grandchildren, Quincy and Ariel Sullivan; brothers-in-law, Stafford Robinson, Anthony Cunningham, and Darius, Jerome, Jason, Tyrrell, and Devonte Tyler; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his sons, Nathan Jr. and Nasean Roberts, and his grandparents. Professional Services will be handled by Gary L. Rollins Funeral Home.
