Monroe Rudolph Lefeged Obituary (1944 - 2019)

Monroe Rudolph Lefeged was called home to glory on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 in Frederick, MD. He was born March 15, 1944 in Montgomery County Maryland to the late Monroe and Dorothy Lefeged. Monroe graduated from Montgomery County Public Schools and later moved to Frederick, MD, where he raised four children. Monroe loved to spend time at cookouts with his family, listening to music and fishing. And whether he caught a fish or not, he loved the thrill of rolling out his line and watching it fly. He could often be seen enjoying time with his family and friends, all of whom he loved dearly. Monroe leaves behind to rejoice and to celebrate his life: his wife, Deborah Lefeged; daughter, Kerlissa Camacho (Gilbert); sons, Mitchell Lefeged (Susan), Marcus Lefeged and David Barnes; step-son, Rufus Trent; step-daughter, Domonique Trent; sisters, Edna Frazier, Barbara Blackwell-Powell (Greg), Dorothy Palmer, Joyce Wilson, Brenda Jones (Curtis); brother-in-law, William Jones; grandchildren, Olyvia Camacho, Amelio Camacho, Christian Lefeged, Andres Lefeged, Jazmine Lefeged, Noah Lefeged, Isabelle Lefeged, Morgan Lefeged, Marcus Lefeged, Jamhia Haygood and Kyre Bowie; and other relatives and countless friends. In addition to his parents, Monroe was preceded in death by: his sister, Ruth Elizabeth Jones. Monroe Rudolph Lefeged's family asked "that you spend time with your children, take a walk on the beach with your loved ones and make a toast to enduring friendships lifelong and beyond. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 1, 2019 at the Gary L. Rollins Funeral Home, 110 West South Street, Frederick, MD, at 11:00 AM, with public viewing at 10:00 AM. Interment will immediately follow services at Fairview Cemetery, Frederick, MD. Pastor Mike Cooper, officiating.
