Joey Lindstrom Obituary (1974 - 2022)

Joey Martin Lindstrom was born March 13, 1974, to Harold "Marty" Fugate and Susan Fugate (nee Weidman) in Frederick, MD. He was later adopted by Ronald Lindstrom (Dad). He went to his eternal home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 25, 2022. Joe fought a 6 month battle against cancer with faith powered strength and attitude. He always gave all the glory to God every day given to him and never gave up hope in following God's plan. He recently celebrated his 10th wedding anniversary with his wife, Marisol Lindstrom. Joe and Marisol lived in their new home on Braddock Mountain. As a man of God, Joe's passion was serving the Lord. He founded Third Day Community Church in Jefferson, Maryland in 2017, and led the flock with a strong foundation in the Fruits of the Spirit. (Galatians 5:22-23). As in all that Joe set his heart on, he did it with great determination and fervor, starting in his youth in soccer, martial arts, and theater arts. His musical gifts included vocals, guitar, and drums. The Lord blessed him in a multitude of ways throughout his career that led him to becoming a Pastor while still working for the City of Frederick as the Safety and Risk Manager. Joe enjoyed time with his children, dancing, singing, and laughing. He loved spending time with his family in his "cabin" (as Reagan would call it) in West Virginia, playing Uno, Apples to Apples, and taking rides on the golf cart. Joe leaves behind the love of his life, Marisol; beloved children, Reagan, Wyatt and Preston; stepson, Kevin Miles; 3 grandchildren; parents, Susan and Ronald Lindstrom; brothers, Jesse Fugate and Jake Fugate; his faithful dogs, Liam and Luna; and horse, Gabby. One of Joe's favorite verses is Romans 8:28 (King James Version) "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." It was Joe's wish to continue to provide a Christian Education for our daughter, Reagan Lindstrom.
