JoeAnn Ambush Obituary (1946 - 2014)

Mrs. JoeAnn Ambush, 67, of Dickerson, MD passed away at Frederick Memorial Hospital on Weds., May 28, 2014. She was the wife of Louis Ambush. JoeAnn was born July 10, 1946, in Washington, DC to the late Henry Day and Ruth Burgess. She worked 19 years for Montgomery County Government prior to her retirement. She was a member of St. Paul A.M.E. Church, Dickerson, MD. In addition to her husband, JoeAnn is survived by: son Christopher Evy; daughters Kelly Teal (Michael), Cindy Bennett (Scott), Tammy Schehl (Scott), and Amanda McGannon; stepdaughters Gwen Hoy (Howard), Daphne Weedon (Harry), and Cassandra Dulin (Josh); brother Buddy Day; grandchildren Ryan, Samson, Molly, Holly, Katie, Eoin, Finn, Garrett, Keshia, Bradley, Sabrina, Brianna, and Dorian; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. JoeAnn was predeceased by: daughters Kerry Evy-Naill and Kimberly Evy. A memorial service will be held on Sat., May 31, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Paul AME Church, 6750 Ed Sears Rd. Dickerson, MD, with Pastor Ronald Simmons officiating and Rev. Anthony Young delivering the eulogy.
