Hubert Mulkey Obituary (1933 - 2020)

Hubert Mulkey was born on June 17, 1933 in Statesville, NC. On April 28, 2020, he went home to be with our Lord and Savior. Hubert was a simple man who enjoyed the simple things in life. He enjoyed being with his family, collecting things and listening to his music, especially gospel. Anyone who knew him knew he loved the Lord and lived his life according to God's word. He was a Deacon at Simpson Christian Church.He loved praying the Lord's Prayer and reading Psalm 23. He is survived by his: loving wife of 16 years, Brenda L. Mulkey; 3 chi!dren, Robert, Debra and Alan (Zoe); and a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Owen A. Mulkey and Martha Steelman, and 5 children.
