Michael Crampton, Sr. Obituary (1942 - 2022)

Mr. Henry Michael Crampton of Frederick, MD, 80, passed away on October 6, 2022 peacefully in his home. Born June 12, 1942, he was the son of Lily Mae Ambush and Henry Walter Crampton. Michael was a veteran of the US Army and fought in Vietnam. He was overseas for three years, where he earned a medal as a sharpshooter. He grew up in Frederick with his mother Lily Mae Ambush and was eager to work and/or take care of the home. He loved being outdoors, spending time with his family and making people smile. He is survived by his children: Mike Crampton, Jr. (Kristi), Tashika Abrecht, Keith Crampton (Diane), and Mike "Toby" Crampton; several grandchildren including, Mike Crampton, Anthony Crampton and Rosemarie Crampton; several great grandchildren; and his life-long friend, Gene Snowden. Henry was a bright spark in this world and will be deeply missed.
