Felecia Myers Obituary (1958 - 2016)

Felecia Kathryn Myers, 57, of Mount Airy, MD, was received into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 8, 2016, at the University of Maryland Medical Center. She was born on September 17, 1958, to the late Charles Edward and Kathryn Mae Myers (Luby). Felecia was a minister and a true and faithful servant of God. She touched many lives with her vibrant smile and sweet spirit. She was a mentor, counselor, inspiration, loving friend, and sister to many. No matter the time nor the day, she always put others before herself; even when she wasn't feeling well. She embraced all with open arms and loved everyone. She exhibited the fruits of the spirit; love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, singing, cooking, old school storytelling, writing, exploring new places, going on adventures with her grandchildren, and ministering. She leaves to mourn her son, Jernai Myers (Tia), Laurel, MD; granddaughters, Shalay, Shaliece, and Katerra Myers, Laurel, MD; great-granddaughter, Breelynn Myers; sister, Judy Myers, Hagerstown, MD; brothers, Garry Myers Sr., Hagerstown, MD, Kevin Myers, Sr. (Cynthia), Mt. Airy, MD, Charles Myers, Sr. (Michelle), Frederick, MD, and Donald Myers (Jacqueline), Hagerstown, MD; special friends, Karen, Trina, and Chris; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, family, and friends. Felecia was preceded in death by three brothers, Edward, Timothy, and Randy. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate any monetary contributions to help with the funeral cost.
