Elliott Levon Witherspoon Obituary (1954 - 2018)

Elliott Levon Witherspoon, 63, of Frederick, MD returned home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 4, 2018. Elliott was born in Lancaster, SC to the late Florence Marsh and Lee Hood. He was an avid Washington Redskins fan, loved cooking, and watching fishing shows on television. Elliott is survived by: his devoted wife, Pamela Witherspoon; four children, Rosalyn Witherspoon, Nikki Witherspoon, Jennifer Valentine and Damon Valentine; six grandchildren, Jamircle, Jermaine, Jamarria, Michael (Rashida), Diamisha (Dajuan) and Sade Fair; four great-grandchildren, Aiden, Journey, Aaliyah and Dajuan, Jr.; four sisters, Dorothy, Virginia, Myra, and Bernice; two devoted friends, Greg and Claudette Kozlowski; and countless nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by: his brothers, Willard and Alexander; a sister, Barbara; and three great-grandchildren, Ava, Angel, and DJ. Services will be on Saturday. January 13, at the Gary L. Rollins Funeral Home, 110 West South St., Frederick, MD, with the public viewing at 9:30 a.m., family hour at 10 a.m., and the funeral at 11 a.m.
