Anthony Linwood Ambush Sr. Obituary (1949 - 2020)

Mr. Anthony Linwood Ambush Sr. (retired) age 71 of Frederick, MD unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday December 8, 2020 at Care Haven Center in Martinsburg, West Virginia. He was the son of the late Otho Linwood Ambush and Jessie Mae (Herbert) Ambush of Frederick, MD. Anthony served in the United States Marine Corp and was honorably discharged on January 27, 1977. Anthony will be missed most for his giving personality. He was always willing to help where he could. Anthony was well known in the Frederick, Maryland and surrounding areas for his expert carpentry skills of hardwood flooring, carpet, home remodeling, painting and much more. He was the go-to guy for your mechanical needs. Anthony loved HOT ROD cars, car shows, and one of his favorite shows was American Pickers. He is survived by: daughter, Vennessa Lyn (Ambush) Green; son, Anthony Linwood Ambush Jr.; granddaughters, La Resha Marrow, April Green, and Lisa Green & Nigeria (Green) Dominquez; sister, Virginia Ambush-Harris; brothers, Stanley Ambush (Evelyn) of Frederick, and Roger Ambush (Sharon) of Frederick; devoted friend, Madeal Bevels; and a host of nieces and nephews. Anthony was preceded in death by: grandparents, Roy and Virginia Ambush, Roger Elijah and Jesse Lena Weedon Herbert; parents, Otho Linwood Ambush and Jessie Mae (Herbert) Ambush; sisters, Sandra May (Ambush) Harris, and Helen Diane Ambush; and brother-in-law Howard Harris Sr.
