Alfonso William Thompson Obituary (1957 - 2020)

Alfonso Thompson, 62, passed away on March 4, 2020 in his home in Frederick, MD. Born in Berlin, Germany, he was the son of the late William A. Thompson and Helga L. Thompson. He was educated in the Washington, DC school system. Alfonso was employed at CHS and worked as a flagger/contractor. He enjoyed Sci-Fi movies and anime cartoons. He will be remembered for always being helpful and for being a team player who stuck to himself. He loved to feed stray animals and did this up until his final days. Alfonso is survived by his: two sisters, Shirley A. Thomas (William) of PA and Jeanette Thompson of MD; 3 nieces, Jateeyia, Shaunteeyia and Macelia; 5 nephews, Rickey (Shashana), Leroy, Jamaal, Michael, and Deandre; 5 great nieces and nephews, Brenton, Brentany, Bre'yanna, Bre'yante, and Bre'yone; and 5 great great nieces and nephews, Ja'celia, Ja'leeyia, Br'yon, Madyson, and My'lynn. He was predeceased by his parents, William and Helga Thompson, and sister, Macelia H. Thompson.
