Stacey Nicole Hoy Obituary (1988 - 2015)

Stacey Nicole Hoy was touched by an angel on Monday, January 12, 2015, at Frederick Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Stacey was born on November 11, 1988, to Charles E. Hoy Jr. and Lisa Russell Curtis and stepfather John Curtis. Stacey grew up in Frederick County and attended Governor Thomas Johnson High School. She loved to sing and dance. She is survived by her son, Daquan Shanks; sister, Kendra Brightful and husband, James; maternal grandparents, William and Bertha Russell; and paternal grandparents, Charles Hoy Sr. and Margaret Peggy Hoy. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2015, at Asbury UM Church, 101 W. All Saints St., Frederick, MD, with public viewing at 9 a.m., the family receiving friends at 10 a.m., and funeral at 11 a.m. Stacey's pastor, Rev. Dr. LaDelle Brooks, will be officiating.
