I have had the privilege of knowing Gwen and her family, including Mrs. Parker, since 1982. I share your grief. Please know that you are in my prayers. Time and prayer are great healers. Remember that while tears may last for a night, joy comes in the morning. My prayer for Gwen and her family is that your morning comes soon. May good memories of your mother keep your spirits high and do good things in her good name.

Love,
Donna and family

My favorite Aunt Bert...we had alot of great times together, the laughter, the great conversations, shopping for shoes(with your narrow feet) cooking my favorite cakes for you or just sharing some words of inspriational thoughts! "Do not go where the path may LEAD, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail" and that you did. You will aways be in my heart! and in the end it's not the years in your life THAT COUNTS its THE LIFE in your years! Rest in peace Aunt Bert. Love you from Neil & Sam - Love to my cousins Gwen, Bev, Tammy and Kenyon!

Gwen, Beverly, Kenyon & Tammy:

We wish to express our heart felt sorrow in the loss of your mother. She is in our prayers and so are you.

It has been a while since I saw your mother, but she has been in my prayers and thoughts always since my mom became sick. When my mother stayed with us, she would call from time to time. My mother particularly enjoyed hearing how she was when Jr. would email or your mother call. I would tell her all the time for a month because it was always new information to her.

But I want you to know she had a significant affect on my life. She has been in my memory since I can remember... when Gwen and Beverly were small an Jr. was a baby. She was one of those special adults that set examples and made you think. A half century ago if I did something mischievous, she didn't scold me or tell my parents (that i knew of at the time). She would ask me questions about what I did and in my embarassment I would apologize or try to make things right. This continued my whole life. She must have been a great teacher. When we would see her at my parents, before Carolyn got sick, she would ask about Carolyn's travels and when Carolyn got sick she was supportive. I always knew she cared. I want you to know we loved your mother and we love you guys.T

Anthony, and Alex.
